Llavan Fernando - Chief Executive Officer & President

Llavan Fernando is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Zone24X7 Inc. based in San Jose, California, USA and in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Zone24x7 is a technology organization poised to deliver the total end to end payment, security and innovative immerging technology solutions to leading Tier 1 retailers and device manufacturers. Mr. Fernando is responsible for the company’s overall strategic direction. Prior to Zone24X7 Inc. he was the President and co-founder of @pos Transaction Systems (later known as Crossvue), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Motorola Inc;

Mr. Fernando draws up more than 30 years of broad ranging experience in research & development, mobile computing and management. Prior to @pos, he served as Vice President of Engineering for Inforite and Strategic Business Development Manager at Wyse Technology. Mr. Fernando also co-founded Leef Technology and FelMac Research, leading technology companies. His extensive executive management experience includes General Manager for TeleSensory, and R & D Engineering positions for Data Products, Wilkinson Sword (U.K.) and H Tinsley (U.K.).

He pursued his university studies in England where he obtained his B.Sc in Electrical Engineering and M.Sc in Instrumentation and Systems from University of Reading, U.K.

Saw-Chin Fernando - Chief Financial Officer

Saw-Chin Fernando is the Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Zone24x7 Inc. She is serving as Chief Financial Officer from the inception of the company. Saw-Chin oversees the operations of the distributed teams in both the US and Sri Lanka and drives the company’s focus on excellence in operations, engineering, people, process and global alignment for successful execution. She is instrumental in fostering leadership, teamwork, culture and core values within Zone24x7. Saw-Chin is responsible in formulating and implementing organizational policies while ensuring efficient and effective management of activities.

She started her earlier career in the United Kingdom and later directly assisted and strongly supported several Silicon Valley start-up companies in planning and directing their operational activities. Her previous valuable experience includes involvement in supervising teams, managing properties and investments for over 20 years.

Born in Malaysia, she had her early education in Malaysia and later in the UK. Currently Saw-Chin is also overseeing several successful global businesses in Malaysia.

Manjula Dissanayake - Vice President : Global Operations

Manjula Dissanayake is the Vice President of Global Operations for Zone24x7 Inc based in California, USA.

In April 2007 Manjula was appointed to lead operations of the Sri Lankan subsidiary of Zone24x7 Inc. In this capacity he is responsible for overseeing the teams while helping the CEO with the strategic direction of the company. From 2004 to 2007 he served as the Engineering Manager being the first to hold this position at the company.

Manjula has been with Zone24x7 since inception and has rendered his services in managing the software and hardware teams. He has over 10 years of experience in software development and project management.

Prior to Zone24x7, he served at Symbol Technologies where he was responsible for developing and managing mobility solutions for the retail industry. He holds extensive experience in both streamlining store operations and providing end-to-end enterprise solutions.

He also has served leading information technology companies in Sri Lanka and has been closely working with clients in the USA , Canada , Sweden , Australia , Taiwan , China and Sri Lanka .

Manjula earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Manchester Metropolitan , UK and a Master of Science in Advanced Computing from the University of Colombo .
